Zimbabwe’s tourism industry has been marred by recent civil unrest, but this doesn’t detract from the beauty of the country and the many adventure activities it has to offer. At this stage the only trek being offered in Zimbabwe is the thrilling whitewater rafting from Victoria Falls down the Bogota Gorge. Experience the adrenalin of riding a series of grade V rapids and enjoy camping under the stars on the river bank.
The best times to visit are April to May and August to September which are the dry seasons. Zimbabwe has a temperate climate all year with hot summer temperatures. Winter night time temperates can drop substantially in the highland and mountainous regions.
