Bangladesh, one of the most densely populated countries in the world situated in the low lying Ganges Delta and most of the country is within 10 meters above sea level.

The location of Bangladesh in the Ganges Delta makes for extremely fertile land thanks to the alluvial deposits from the numerous rivers.

The down side is that this low lying country is prone to catastrophic floods.
